Go Huskers!

We stayed at a KOA campground in Grand Island, NE.  We had planned to take the interstate to the Promised Land, but we decided to actually enjoy our ride out.  We were, after all, on vacation!  So we took Highway 2 up through the Sand Hills of Nebraska.  That was a much more enjoyable ride!  Very pretty and QUIET!!  I don't think anyone lives there.  We stopped for lunch at a little town called Thedford for lunch.  Well, nothing was open except the local grocery store.  I thought that was awesome.  Wish I would have taken pictures of it.  It was so cute and quaint!  :)  We got a few things and ate it at the park in town.  Lovely!  The day ended at the city campground in Scott's Bluff.  First, I have to mention the crazy 50 mile per hour wind gusts we endured before arriving!!!  So glad those didn't last.  What does it take for the wind to blow a Ninja off the road???  OY!!!
